Teatro Micaelense

The City Doors of Ponta Delgada are one of the architectural landmarks of the capital of the magnificent São Miguel Island, in the stunning Azores Archipelago.
Located nowadays right in the center of the city, in the heart of Gonçalo Velho Cabral Square, the Portas da Cidade were built in 1783 along the old quay to the east of the city, and were transferred to this prestigious place in 1952 due to the also very important and beautiful Avenida Infante D. Henrique.

Batalha Golf Course

Located in Fenais da Luz, the Batalha Golf Course is framed in a stunning landscape, being the perfect setting for an unforgettable round of golf, in an environment of pure nature characteristic of the Azores. The course was designed by Cameron Powell in 1986 and features 27 holes of golf spread over 120 hectares. The facilities were opened to the public in 1993.

Seven Cities Lagoon (Lagoa das Sete Cidades)

The Seven Cities Lagon is one of the most famous places in the Azores Archipelago, and once it is understood, it is understood why.
This is the largest freshwater lake in the Azores, located in the volcanic craters that make up the Island. It consists of two lagoons (Lagoa Verde and Lagoa Azul), which promote a scenario of extreme and indescribable beauty and one of the symbolic images of the entire archipelago, classified as Protected Landscape of the Natura 2000 Network.

Poça da Dona Beija

In the municipality of Povoação, in the town of Furnas, is the charming Poça Dona Beija, known for its therapeutic indications.

The spring is part of the Furnas volcano caldera, the thermal area is composed of a complex of five bathing areas all supplied by a hot spring with therapeutic properties, heated by the heat of the Furnas volcano.
